Fifth Annual Diabetes Symposium
This half-day symposium will focus on the medical management of common and important challenges facing health professionals who care for patients with diabetes as well as patients facing gestational diabetes. The multispecialty educational approach allows participants to explore treatment options, whether inpatient or outpatient, in a concise symposium format.

Learning Objectives
- Apply updated guidelines in the management of patients in a hyperglycemic crisis.
- Utilize a triage system to determine the best location of care and therapeutic approach for patients during a hyperglycemic crisis.

the auditorium is located on the south side of the campus. Approach from SW 94 Street (accessible from
