Live Virtual Symposium - April 16, 2021
The Miami Cancer Institute Women’s Cancer Symposium brings together a distinguished faculty from Harvard, Memorial Sloan Kettering and Miami Cancer Institute for a one-day virtual symposium that will focus on the medical management of common and important challenges facing health-care professionals who care for women with cancer. The multispecialty approach allows participants to explore new diagnoses and cutting-edge treatment options for various areas of breast and ovarian cancer patient care in a concise symposium format.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this conference, participants should be better able to:
- Identify and explain the latest trends in research and technology in the treatment of gynecologic and breast cancers.
- Interpret contemporary research findings and be able to appropriately implement changes into clinical practice.
- Examine the significance of novel approaches to the medical and surgical management of breast and gynecologic cancers within the context of the current standard of care.
- Integrate new gynecologic oncology therapies into clinical practice in an evidence-based manner.
- Amplify implementation of novel approaches to the clinical care team.
- Assess the implications for future directions in research and clinical practice in breast and gynecologic cancers.
