Forward2026 Hospital Medicine Symposium
Hospital medicine is a rapidly evolving field in which inpatient clinicians must continuously integrate new evidence, updated clinical guidelines and emerging technologies into daily practice. Hospitalists are responsible for managing a wide range of complex conditions, including sepsis, anticoagulation, heart failure, inpatient diabetes care, infectious diseases and acute respiratory illness.
This educational activity is designed to address these challenges by providing a structured forum for reviewing key updates in hospital medicine. Through focused, evidence-based presentations and interdisciplinary discussion, participants will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge, improve clinical competence and better integrate current guidelines into inpatient practice, ultimately supporting improved patient outcomes.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be better able to:
- Provide compassionate, appropriate and effective care for patients with a variety of health conditions.
- Integrate clinical findings to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
- Apply current biomedical, clinical, and cognate science knowledge to the diagnosis and management of disease.

- Apply professional standards consistently in clinical decision-making and behavior.
