Evidence-based Clinical Care: Anesthesia Guidelines Presurgery/Procedure Evaluation Tool Care Pathways
This evidence-based clinical care course provides practitioners with step-by-step training in the use of a new documentation tool within the Baptist Health electronic medical record for presurgical evaluation.

Target Audience
Anesthesiologists, Surgeons, Hospitalists, Primary Care Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurses and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.
Learning Objectives
- Implement a new electronic medical record presurgery tool to identify a patient’s modifying risk factors, metabolic equivalents (METs) and risk for the procedure to ensure that the patient has the appropriate preprocedural/presurgical testing completed.
