The use of social media has become increasingly important across all industries, including healthcare. Social media has enormous potential for healthcare providers and their patients, but, when not well managed, opens the door to numerous risks. As we continue to live and work in this new age of “always wired, always communicating,” it is imperative that we have the necessary tools to successfully manage social media use.
