Novel technologies combined with innovative approaches to screening, detection and treatment of skin cancers are revolutionizing the management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. The Miami Cancer Institute Skin Cancer Conference is designed to highlight the significant multidisciplinary approach to surveillance and personalized treatment for skin cancer, promoting optimal outcomes as well as improved quality of life. This conference will combine a series of fascinating lectures on the use of surgery, medicine, radiation therapy, lasers and artificial intelligence to manage melanoma and nonmelanoma skin cancers.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this conference, participants should be better able to:

  • Recognize high-risk patients with skin cancer and make appropriate referrals to dermatologists and tertiary centers with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Implement management and follow-up strategies for high-risk patients.
  • Discuss the latest research in a new class of systemic anticancer therapies.
  • Discuss surgical aspects of skin cancer treatment.
