Learning Objectives
- Outline the clinical presentation of symptomatic carotid artery stenosis.
- Assess risk factors and efficacy associated with treatment options for patients with atherosclerotic carotid bifurcation disease.
- Utilize current evidence-based medical treatment modalities, along with available surgical and endovascular therapies, for the treatment of patients with carotid artery stenosis.
