  • List conditions preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) is used to identify.
  • Explain the steps involved in performing PGT.
  • Describe the impact PGT has on reproductive clinical outcomes.
  • Analyze the epidemiology of maternal mortality.
  • Evaluate the data on racial disparities in maternal mortality in the United States.
  • Identify solutions to incorporate into clinical practice.
  • Identify common causes of recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL).
  • Determine who meets the diagnostic criteria for RPL.
  • Utilize current recommendations for evaluation and treatment options for the prevention of RPL.
  • Identify common dermatologic conditions gynecologic patients present with in the gynecology office setting.
  • Utilize appropriate diagnostic tests to distinguish between dermatologic conditions that present similarly in the gynecologic patient.
  • Determine if and when a gynecologic dermatology condition requires referral to a dermatologist. 
  • Describe the historic and scientific basis behind the use of antenatal corticosteroid therapy for preterm birth management.
  • Analyze the results of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Units (MFMU) late preterm steroids trial.
  • Consider newer indications and long-term implications for the administration of antenatal corticosteroids.
  • Differentiate between ITP, gestational thrombocytopenia or a process related to pre-eclampsia.
  • Identify adverse pregnancy outcomes associated with thrombophilia.
  • Apply safety bundles to reduce severe maternal morbidity and mortality resulting from thrombophilia.
  • Describe the public health significance of postpartum hemorrhage and its role in maternal deaths worldwide.
  • Perform differential diagnosis to identify the postpartum hemorrhage levels of acuity.
  • Analyze, in depth, the hemostatic interventional procedures for management of postpartum hemorrhage.
