- Consider newer indications and long-term implications for the administration of antenatal corticosteroids.
- Differentiate between ITP, gestational thrombocytopenia or a process related to pre-eclampsia.
- Identify adverse pregnancy outcomes associated with thrombophilia.
- Apply safety bundles to reduce severe maternal morbidity and mortality resulting from thrombophilia.
- Describe the public health significance of postpartum hemorrhage and its role in maternal deaths worldwide.
- Perform differential diagnosis to identify the postpartum hemorrhage levels of acuity.
- Analyze, in depth, the hemostatic interventional procedures for management of postpartum hemorrhage.
