Practitioner Impairment: Professionals Resource Network
Addiction and psychiatric illness affect a significant number of healthcare professionals. Alexis Polles, M.D., medical director and chief executive officer of Professionals Resource Network (PRN), describes a model for success to identify potentially impairing conditions (performance concerns) in healthcare professionals and provide resources available to them and their colleagues.
This course provides tools to recognize and manage matters of impairment specific to licensed independent practitioners in compliance with The Joint Commission Standard MS.11.01.01.
