Pediatric Multispecialty Conference Series: Newborn Sepsis Risk Calculator – There’s an App for That!
Sepsis is a major cause of morbidity and mortality among infants in the NICU. Because septic infants present with nonspecific clinical findings, the timely diagnosis of early-onset sepsis (EOS) in the neonate remains a challenge to those caring for newborns. Identification of the optimal approach to EOS risk assessment, i.e. Newborn Sepsis Risk Calculator, and standardized implementation of such an approach could improve care and clinical outcomes of a large proportion of newborns. Please join us as Dr. Andrew Kairalla presents the Pediatric Multispecialty Conference Series: Newborn Sepsis Risk Calculator – There’s an App for That!
