  • Apply tools and principles of ethical analysis to complex end-of-life decisions, including withholding and withdrawing life-sustaining treatment.
  • Define physician-assisted death as it is practiced in the United States and contrast it with other related practices.
  • Examine standards of care and legal requirements related to managing conflict over code status.
