Conversations in Ethics: Integrated AI Ethics Perspective

Vardit Ravitsky, Ph.D., from Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics, will join us for the August Conversations in Ethics lecture, which will focus on the ethical dimensions of AI in healthcare.
Topics will include privacy and data security to ensure that patient data is protected and used responsibly; biases in AI algorithms that could lead to unequal treatment or disparities; transparency in AI decision-making processes that are understandable to patients and healthcare providers; determining who is responsible when AI systems make errors or cause harm; and informed consent so that patients are fully aware of how AI is used in their care.
