Conversations in Ethics: Ethical Considerations in Organ Procurement, NRP and Informed Consent

Healthcare systems and professionals across the nation are currently evaluating organ procurement practices and exploring appropriate responses to emerging procurement methods. This presentation will examine the ethical considerations involved in organ procurement, discuss newer procurement techniques such as Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP), and consider their implications for patient care and clinical decision-making.
