The benefits of empathy in medical practice include improved patient satisfaction and health outcomes. However, empathy not only affects satisfaction and outcomes, but has significant effects on healthcare providers as well.
Please join us as Nancy Eklund, M.D., explores the psychology and physiology of empathy and provides strategies to implement empathic skills into clinical practice.
