2019 Fecal Occult Blood Annual Competency

This course meets College of American Pathologists requirements for provider-performed fecal occult blood testing annual compliance training. If you have questions regarding course content or compliance requirements, please contact the point of care testing coordinator at your entity. 

Baptist Health facilities require that providers complete the annual competency by July.

NOTE: All providers who successfully completed the initial competency course piloted in 2018 will automatically be enrolled in the 2019 annual competency course and will receive reminders starting in May 2019. The 2019 annual competency course will be open to all providers starting January 1.  

 

Target Audience

Baptist Health providers who perform fecal occult blood testing.

  • Utilize the fecal occult blood test successfully and accurately interpret results.
