COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Over the past four decades, there has been a significant increase in obesity among adults. Additionally, a link has been determined between obesity and gastrointestinal disorders. This association offers gastroenterologists an excellent opportunity to manage obesity. Please join us for an engaging and informative discussion on Strategies for Weight Management for the Gastroenterologistwith Dr. Michelle Pearlman as she defines obesity and discusses its prevalence, trends and complications. Dr. Pearlman will also review and discuss common post-bariatric complications and nonsurgical management.
