COURSE DESCRIPTION: 
Please join us for a conference on Advancements in Pulmonary Embolism Treatment with Pouya Aghajafari, M.D. In this session, Dr. Aghajafari will provide a comprehensive overview of acute PE management. He will begin by reviewing historic and standard treatments such as anticoagulation, then introduce advanced therapies including catheter-directed and ultrasound-facilitated approaches (e.g., EKOS). The discussion will also cover mechanical thrombectomy and CAVT techniques, highlight landmark clinical trials like PEERLESS and STORM-PE, and conclude with insights on current guidelines and future directions.
