COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Baptist Health transcatheter aortic-valve replacement (TAVR) interdisciplinary care team translates the latest evidence-based data and best practice guidelines into the development of treatment plans to optimize delivery of cardiovascular care through a case-based, reflective, interactive sessions.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement Patient Care Team Members, physicians, and nurses.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
• Review results from various transcatheter aortic-valve replacement (TAVR) surgery cases.
• Assess indications for proper patient selection for TAVR.
• Implement evidence-based strategies into clinical practice to improve care of the TAVR patient.
