Sickle Cell e-learning Series

Why This Series Matters

With a high mortality rate and an average lifespan of just 42 years for females and 40 years for males in the United States, sickle cell disease significantly impacts patients' lives. This online series, led by experts Neil Miransky, D.O., and Michelle Krichbaum, Pharm.D., aims to bridge gaps in the care of patients with sickle cell disease. Dr. Miransky and his team at the Sickle Cell Care Clinic at Baptist Health South Miami Hospital emphasize the importance of understanding and addressing these challenges in clinical practice.
