• Summarize the MICS CABG evidence base: feasibility, angiographic patency, completeness of revascularization, and 10-year durability — including the MIST randomized trial.
• Interpret the off-pump literature correctly — why ROOBY and CORONARY reached opposite conclusions, and what that teaches about technique versus experience.
• Appraise hybrid coronary revascularization against its randomized and pooled evidence — including where that evidence does not support it.
• Apply this evidence to patient selection: who benefits most from a sternum-sparing approach, and what a program requires before offering one.
