COURSE DESCRIPTION
This lecture series is scheduled will provide interdisciplinary updates on new advances in hospital medicine. Designed for the busy clinical staff, the lectures will review recent updates and provide high-yield clinical information to help guide patient care.

Hospitalists  will increase awareness and knowledge of the current guidelines and recommendations for treatment of the disease states and conditions regarded as the core competencies in hospital medicine.
 

TARGET AUDIENCE: 
Hospitalists, internists, family practitioners, nurses, advanced practice providers and other interested healthcare providers.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Implement current guidelines and recommendations for the core competencies in hospital medicine as identified by the Society of Hospital Medicine. 
  • Analyze and assess current literature in hospital medicine.
