COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This activity addresses professional practice gaps relevant to physicians in the practice of cardiology. In addition, physicians that identify conditions and refer patients to a cardiovascular surgeon and those specialists to whom a cardiologist might refer for further evaluation or treatment.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  •     Apply new diagnostic and interventional tools and techniques into practice.
  •     Determine patient candidates for new therapies for the treatment of complex heart disease.
  •     Implement evidence-based strategies into clinical practice based on the leading cardiovascular evidence-based research.
