New Developments in the Management of Childhood Brain Tumors

Brain tumors are the second-most common cancer in children, after leukemia. Learners will hear about the new developments in the management of childhood brain tumors supported by current evidence.

Target Audience

Pediatricians, Pediatric Oncologists, Hematologists/Oncologists, Pediatric General Internists, Family Physicians, Neonatologists and Emergency Department Physicians.

  • Identify the most common pediatric brain tumors, their clinical manifestations and genetic causes. 
  • Explain the difference in chemotherapy, radiation therapy and immunotherapy for pediatric brain tumors. 
  • List the classifications of new molecular brain tumors.
