This course provides an overview of neurofibromatosis diagnosis and optimal treatment options for the pediatric patient.
Target Audience
Pediatricians, Pediatric Oncologists, Hematologists/Oncologists, Pediatric General Internists, Family Physicians, Neonatologists and ED Physicians.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the presenting features and diagnostic criteria for neurofibromatosis 1 (NF-1) and neurofibromatosis 2 (NF-2).
- Identify the various types of tumors seen in NF and implement management plans.
