Medicare’s Teaching Physician Billing Guidelines

Accurate resident documentation is imperative to ensure a complete medical record that meets specific participation/performance requirements. This course provides teaching physicians with the specific documentation requirements applicable to each type of resident service. 

Target Audience

West Kendall Baptist Hospital GME faculty, including: family medicine practitioners, cardiologists, emergency medicine physicians, surgeons, hospitalists, Ob/Gyns, nephrologists, hematologists/oncologists, infectious disease specialists, gastroenterologists, neurologists, ENTs, ophthalmologists, urologists, pulmonologists, critical care physicians, medical students, residents, fellows and other interested healthcare professionals.
