Enhancing Perimenopause Care: Addressing Sexual Dysfunction and Hormone Therapy in Clinical Practice

Perimenopause is a critical transitional period marked by complex physiological, psychological, and sexual health changes that significantly affect patients’ quality of life. Despite its prevalence, many individuals experience unmet needs due to gaps in clinician knowledge, inconsistent care practices, and persistent stigma surrounding menopause related symptoms. This continuing education series equips healthcare professionals with evidence based strategies to enhance care for patients navigating perimenopause, with a focused exploration of two commonly overlooked yet highly impactful areas: sexual dysfunction and hormone therapy.
