Echocardiography and Noninvasive Vascular Testing Lecture Series: Ultrasound Evaluation of Renal and Mesenteric Vascular Disease
Arterial occlusive disease of the renal and mesenteric arteries can present with a wide spectrum of clinical severity, from asymptomatic findings to life-threatening ischemia.
In this activity, John S. Pellerito, M.D., will review the pathophysiology and clinical relevance of these conditions, with a focused discussion on the use of duplex ultrasonography for diagnosis. The session will cover imaging protocols, diagnostic criteria and test limitations to enhance clinical confidence in detecting vascular abnormalities.
Target Audience
Cardiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, echocardiography and noninvasive vascular testing specialists, nurses, sonographers, pharmacists, respiratory therapists.
