Climate and Exertional Heat Illness

Target Audience

Physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, dietitians, social workers, respiratory therapists (direct delivery), nurses, advanced practice registered nurses and all other interested healthcare professionals.

  • Describe patient characteristics associated with increased risk for heat illness.
  • Determine appropriate interventions for the treatment of heat illness in the adult and pediatric populations.
