This lecture will review the role of cardio-oncology in the comprehensive cardiovascular assessment and management of patients with cancer across the continuum of care, including before, during, and after cancer treatment. It will discuss strategies for baseline cardiovascular risk assessment, prevention and early detection of cancer therapy-related cardiovascular toxicity, and the long-term management of cardiovascular complications in cancer survivors.
