Please join us for a discussion on “Early Detection.” This educational activity will address improvements in early detection and innovations in breast imaging, a new cancer genetic screening program and cardiovascular disease.

Learning Objectives
- Identify current and developing uses of contrast-enhanced mammography in a screening and diagnostic breast practice.
- Compare the performance of contrast mammography with that of breast MRI.
- Discuss the use of artificial intelligence in breast imaging as a means to improve efficiency and effectiveness outcomes.
- Describe the relationship between breast artery calcification and the risk of cardiovascular disease.
- Understand the role of coronary artery calcium screening in cardiovascular risk stratification.
- Define the next steps after incidental finding of extra-coronary calcification.
- Discuss updated indications for cancer gene panel testing.
- Discuss the advantages of guidelines-based testing and population testing.
- Review NCCN guidelines for risk reduction and managing positive mutations and VUS.
- Discuss the limitations of direct-to-consumer testing.
- Determine risk assessment when genetic testing reveals no mutation.
