Welcome to the 13th Annual Miami Neuroscience Symposium!

Neuroscience is a rapidly advancing field, with new discoveries, technologies and treatment modalities emerging regularly. The Miami Neuroscience Symposium presents a comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum for clinicians and healthcare practitioners specializing in the treatment and support of patients within neuroscience. The program is designed to address the full continuum of care, from emergency intervention to rehabilitation. Through interactive lectures, case-based discussions and the integration of emerging tools, participants will gain practical, immediately applicable insights to improve outcomes in complex neurological care.

What to Expect

  • Keeping Pace with Advances: Neuroscience research continually uncovers new insights into the brain, nervous system and associated disorders. The distinguished faculty will guide engaging sessions to share the latest innovative and evidence-based clinical methodologies, designed to enhance patient outcomes across the entire spectrum of neuroscience care.
  • Interdisciplinary - Interprofessional Collaboration: Neuroscience care often requires collaboration across multiple disciplines, including neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, pharmacy, nursing, rehabilitation and more. The Miami Neuroscience Symposium will facilitate interdisciplinary learning and foster collaboration among healthcare professionals.
  • Enhancing Clinical Skills: By presenting complex case studies and innovative treatment strategies, this symposium will help clinicians enhance their diagnostic and therapeutic skills. The expert faculty will provide practical insights that can be directly applied to patient care.
  • Networking and Professional Development: Engage with experts and peers from diverse specialties to exchange ideas, explore best practices and expand professional connections that support high-quality patient care.

Featured Topics

  • Innovations in stroke diagnosis and intervention
  • Surgical and radiosurgical advances in spine and brain tumor care
  • Updates in epilepsy treatment, including ketogenic therapy and neuromodulation
  • Management of movement disorders with DBS, HiFu and botulinum toxin
  • Neurocritical care guidelines and post-cardiac arrest prognostication
  • Rehabilitation strategies following neurologic injury or surgery
  • The evolving role of technology in neuroscience practice
