ForwardMiami Cancer Institute Multispecialty Grand Rounds: Immunotherapy in Sarcomas: Current State and Future Opportunities
Over the past decade, the development of novel therapies that mobilize the body’s immune system in attacking tumors has revolutionized the treatment of a still-growing list of solid and hematological malignancies. However, the current era of immuno-oncology (IO) has yet to have a major impact upon the treatment of sarcomas.
During this lecture Dr. Florou will review the evidence on immunotherapy in sarcomas and discuss future treatments.

- Effectively identify patients with sarcoma who are candidates for immunotherapy and determine the most appropriate immunotherapy to improve their outcomes.
