MCI Multispecialty Grand Rounds – Geriatric Oncology in the Era of Precision and Personalized Medicine
The majority of cancer diagnoses occur in adults over the age of 65 years. Although oncology providers are always careful to stage the cancer in formulating cancer treatment plans, we should also recognize the importance of “staging the aging” to ensure that our cancer treatments are thoughtful and personalized to individual patient circumstances.
Dr. Extermann will teach participants how to use assessment tools and implement an integrated treatment approach.
