This Evidence-based Clinical Care course provides practitioners with a step-by-step training on the use of a new documentation tool within the Baptist Health electronic medical record for pre-surgical evaluation. 

Target Audience

Anesthesia, Surgeons, Hospitalists, Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.

Learning Objectives

  • Implement new electronic medical record pre-surgery tool to identify patient's modifying risk factors, metabolic equivalents (METs) and risk for procedure to ensure the patient has appropriate pre-procedural/surgical testing completed.
