eICU: Delivery of Evidenced Based Targeted Temperature Management
Patients have shown significant improvements in neurologic function and survival with targeted temperature management (TTM) after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. TTM is now the recommendation in the international resuscitation guidelines. Dr. Louis Gidel and Donna Armaignac will describe the evidence and therapeutic benefits associated with TTM and proper implementation of the TTM protocol as recommended by the American Heart Association.

eICU Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Nurses.

- Summarize the pathophysiology of reperfusion injury.
- Describe evidence and therapeutic benefits associated with targeted temperature management (TTM).
