Echocardiography and Noninvasive Vascular Testing Lecture Series: Noninvasive Imaging and Classification of Severity of Carotid Bifurcation Atherosclerosis
The management of atherosclerotic carotid occlusive disease for stroke prevention has entered a time of dramatic change. Improvements in medical management have begun to challenge traditional interventional approaches to asymptomatic carotid stenosis.
This educational activity with interactive case reviews will address multiple factors beyond degree of stenosis and symptom status to mitigate clinical decision-making protocols.
Target Audience
Cardiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, echocardiography and noninvasive vascular testing specialists, nurses, sonographers, pharmacists, respiratory therapists.
