Fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) affects approximately 3.8% of the population, and the signs and symptoms vary depending on the distribution of the involved vascular beds. Understanding these presenting symptoms is crucial for the early diagnosis and effective management of patients with FMD.

Dr. Schiro will discuss the pathophysiology of FMD, including the mechanisms underlying stenosis, aneurysm and dissection, as well as provide consensus-based clinical recommendations for management options and treatment strategies for patients diagnosed with FMD .
