In Baptist Health’s unique training program, participants practice cognitive, technical and behavioral skills on computer-operated mannequins programmed to replicate life-threatening medical emergencies. The interactive simulation models are developed to respond to participants’ actions. Immediate debriefing allows multidisciplinary teams to reflect on their communication, actions and overall performance.

This course supports implementation of the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative Obstetric Hemorrhage Initiative (OHI).
