Mariners Hospital Conference Series: Managing Mild COVID-19 in the ED in Adults
The ongoing changes in COVID-19 data, clinical features and patient management present a challenge for emergency medicine clinicians at the front lines of this virus. Join us to hear Dr. Mary Woods and Linda Petek, APRN discuss general management strategies for the COVID-19 positive patients in the emergency department and provide information to help clinicians differentiate between patients needing hospital admission and those that can be monitored and managed outpatient based on NIH treatment guidelines.

- Avoid unnecessary utilization of medications in COVID 19 positive patients who can be managed outpatient based on NIH COVID treatment guidelines.
