Initial Stages of Neurocognitive Disorders

Overview

In recent years, significant advances have transformed how clinicians diagnose, prognose and track the progression of neurodegenerative dementias. The concept of cognitive impairment as a transitional state between normal aging and early dementia has been well-documented, with the construct of mild cognitive impairment emerging to identify this early yet abnormal cognitive state.

Please join us to hear Dr. G. Peter Gliebus discuss strategies for clinicians to recognize early symptoms and clinical features of neurocognitive disorders.  Dr. Gliebus will provide practical insights into implementing an evidence-based diagnostic process that includes clinical assessment, neuropsychological testing and imaging studies, helping you improve patient outcomes through early intervention.
