Echocardiography Assessment of Left Ventricular Diastolic Function
Echocardiographic assessment of left ventricular diastolic function is an integral part of the routine evaluation of patients presenting with symptoms of unexplained exertional dyspnea or heart failure. This educational activity will present the current guidelines for diastolic function assessment using echocardiography, including two-dimensional (2-D) and Doppler parameters to grade diastolic dysfunction.
