Advanced Concepts in Fetal Heart Monitoring
It is important that communication between healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses, is consistent to ensure that patient care is done appropriately. This chapter reviews uniform fetal heart rate (FHR) terminology and interpretation, which are necessary to facilitate meaningful communication, appropriate documentation, establishment of functional information databases and sound research.
Target Audience
Obstetricians, Gynecologists, Nurse Practitioners (General), Physician Assistants/Physician Associates, Nurse Midwives and all other interested healthcare professionals.
