2026 Caring for Kids with Cancer Symposium

Miami, FL US
October 23, 2026

Live Symposium | 5.75 Cat. 1
Friday, October 23, 2026
Baptist Hospital Auditorium

This symposium will deliver an up to date overview of the latest advances in the management of neuroblastoma, sarcoma and brain tumors, including emerging modalities such as proton therapy, immunotherapy, and CAR T cell therapy.

A distinguished faculty of leading experts from nationally recognized cancer centers — including Dana-Farber, MSKCC, UCLA, and UNC — will present cutting edge technologies and evidence based therapeutic strategies for addressing complex clinical challenges.

In a shared commitment to providing the highest level of care to the communities they serve, two of South Florida’s leading healthcare institutions — Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, the region’s largest not for profit healthcare provider, and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, part of Miami Children’s Health System and the area’s premier provider of pediatric healthcare — have partnered to advance healthcare through continuing education.

  • Initiate appropriate referrals for patients who may benefit from CAR T cell therapy.
  • Implement immunotherapy strategies in the management of neuroblastoma.
  • Assess, diagnose and manage Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT).
  • Evaluate and treat complex and difficult pediatric brain tumors.
