RADIATION SAFETY: UNDERSTANDING PROCEDURAL RADIATION DOSE AND HOW TO REDUCE EXPOSURE
This course provides education on radiation safety in fluoroscopy for physicians, non-physicians and ancillary personnel.
Target Audience
Physicians, Non-physicians and Ancillary Staff who provide fluoroscopy services for pediatric or adult patients.
Learning Objectives
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and implement radiation dose optimization techniques and tools for pediatric and adult patients addressed in the Image Gently campaign.
- Utilize safe procedures for operations of the types of fluoroscopy equipment used for therapeutic radiation treatment planning or delivery.
