SMH Inpatient Physicians Grand Rounds: Intracranial Meningiomas – Clinical Perspectives from the Last 28 Years

Meningiomas are common brain tumors, accounting for approximately one-third of all primary brain tumors in adults.  While the majority of these tumors are histologically classified as benign, the clinical course and impact on patients and caregivers can be significant. 

Join us to hear Dr. Michael W. McDermott provide data on how to identify the common mode of presentation for adult meningiomas; how to evaluate treatment options for incidentally discovered meningiomas; and outline the surgical treatment of hyperostosing meningiomas.
