Miami Cancer Institute Multispecialty Grand Rounds: Lessons in Pediatric Sarcoma

Soft tissue sarcoma may be found anywhere in the soft tissue of the body, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, fat, blood vessels, lymph vessels, nerves and tissue around the joints.  In children, the tumors form most often in the arms, legs, chest or abdomen.
During this lecture, Suzanne Wolden, M.D., will demonstrate how radiation doses and plans align with recent cooperative group trials when treating pediatric sarcoma patients.
