Interventional Services During the Pandemic, Including STEMI and Vascular and Nonvascular Activities
The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically challenged the practice of medicine on a global scale in 2020. With fewer patients presenting to hospitals with the diagnosis of STEMI, specialists remain available for consultative and treatment services for thrombo-embolic events.
Target Audience
Adult and Pediatric Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Stroke Neurologists, Neuroradiologists, Diagnostic Radiologists, Critical Care Physicians, Neurointensivists, Emergency Medicine Physicians, Internal Medicine Physicians, Interventional Neuroradiologists, Family Physicians, General Internists, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Rehabilitation and Pain Management Specialists, as well as other specialists interested in the field of neuroscience.
Learning Objectives
- Implement quick development of cardiac processes and protocols as interventional cardiology is not on the front lines.
- Identify patients with thrombotic complications and initiate appropriate treatment plans.
