ECGs From an EP Perspective

The primary care provider frequently sees patients with signs or symptoms that may indicate cardiovascular pathology. The goal of this lecture is to provide an update and overview of the most common cardiovascular conditions seen in primary care, utilize case presentations to incorporate meaningful ECG review and interpretation, and to provide the primary care physician with a sound framework with which to approach patients with cardiovascular symptoms.

Target Audience

Primary Care Physicians, Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (General).

Learning Objectives

  • Identify signs and symptoms of cardiovascular diseases commonly seen in the primary care setting.
  • Utilize case presentations to incorporate meaningful ECG review and interpretation.
