Double Antiplatelet Therapy for Acute Ischemic Stroke Patients

Selected patients with acute ischemic stroke can benefit from a course of double antiplatelet therapy for the purpose of stroke prevention.  This course will detail the disease mechanism by which this therapy works and review the inclusion and exclusion patient selection criteria as well as the different treatment modalities available.
