Antimicrobial Stewardship Conference Series
The Antimicrobial Stewardship Conference Series at South Miami Hospital will address prescribing practices to improve utilization of antimicrobials.
This month’s conference will focus on the management of intra-abdominal infections, which generally involves an invasive procedure to control the source of the infection and antimicrobial therapy directed against the causative microorganisms.
Target Audience
Hospitalists, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (cme only), Pharmacists and Physician Assistants.

- Utilize evidence-based prescribing practices to improve treatment of infectious disease states and improve antimicrobial utilization.
